She loved cooking and waiting on customers, after the restaurant was sold, she worked 19 years for the Winn Dixie Store Chain. Eventually making her career as a Hair Stylist and Salon owner of “A Plaza Hairdresser” in Savannah Georgia for the next 20 years. She loved her clients and as they became older, she would pick them up at home bring them to her salon and take them back home again. She was known to take them to Doctor’s appointment or meet any need she knew they had including being the one to style their hair at their death, it was the last thing she said she could do for them.
