Martha Jeanette (Stanfield) Kicklighter

Jeanette Stanfield Kicklighter, 71, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of GHC Hospice. She was born September 4, 1951, to James E. and Vina Lee Morgan Stanfield and lived in this area most of her life until moving to Shellman Bluff 10 years ago. Jeanette was a Certified Nursing Assistant but her favorite job was taking care of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jeanette was always the life of the party and could light up any room with her vivacious personality. She was known for being the jokester and there was never a dull moment. Jeanette will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Glennville and is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Juanita Stanfield Horne, Charlotte Speer, Larry Dean Stanfield and husband, Johnny Kicklighter.

            She is survived by:

                        Children, Shannon Yarbrough (Jennifer) of Glennville, Georgia
                                       Scarlett Livingston (Dustin) of Shellman Bluff, Georgia

                        Siblings, Ernest Stanfield (Linda)
                                      JoNell Herrin both of Glennville, Georgia

                        Grandchildren, Cheyanne Smith (Cody), Chasity Dubberly (Caleb),
                                                   Chase Dubberly (Bri), Alexis Phillips, Colton Yarbrough

                        Great Grandchildren, Casidy Smith, Connor Smith, Camden McClung, Cade Dubberly, Kya Thorp

            Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 3, 2023 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Memorial Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, March 3, 2023 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
