Don Ellis, 72, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Kinderd Hospice. He was born in Hazlehurst, Georgia June 22, 1949 to Everett and Geraldine Horne Ellis and lived in Hazlehurst and Glennville most of his life. He was employed with Hazlehurst Mills for many years and owner and operator of P.W. Tire. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and was a loving caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Kent and Glenn Ellis.

He is survived by, Wife, Sylvia Ellis of Glennville, Georgia

                            Phillip Ellis

                            Amy Ellis Rogers (John) all of Hazlehurst, Georgia

                            Michelle Bruce (Kasey)

                            Rachael Evans both of Glennville, Georgia

            Sister, Diane Ellis Towns (Jerry) of Cochren, Georgia

Thirteen Grandchildren, Seventeen Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Special friends, Loretta Proctor, Debbie Stubbs, Lisa Lester and the Chris Wiggins Family.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at his residence, 125 Lacy Driggers Road, Glennville, Georgia 30427
