Tammy Young Brannen , 56, gained her heavenly wings after a long battle with ALS, Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. She was born in Montour Falls, NY, October 6, 1962 to Charles and Mary Anne Young. She moved to this area with her family at a young age living here most of her life. She was a 1980 Graduate of Reidsville High School and studied at Georgia Southern University. She was employed with R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company in Metter for 16 years in the printing and office supply industry. She was a loving caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and a member of West Millen Baptist Church.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy Brannen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy Brannen Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Allen and Rev. Mike Dann officiating. Burial will be in Watermelon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Glennville.
